Key key

This BKS 3* Euro Cylinder is available in different sizes, it is key operated from both sides and is made of brass, it is available in two finishes natural brass and nickel plated brass. This comes with 3 keys, 1 key has a led Light feature and 2 standard keys.

Thumb Turn

This BKS 3* Euro cylinder measures 50mm internally and 50mm externally, it has a thumb turn on the inside. It is available in two finishes natural brass and nickel plated brass. This comes with 3 keys, 1 key has a led Light feature and 2 standard keys

Snap Safe 

Euro cylinders have anti snapping lines to prevent intruders using the lock snapping technique the anti snapping line feature, works if any force is applied to the cylinder. The lock will break at the anti snap line at the centre of the cylinder leaving the lock mechanism intact. Preventing the intruder from breaking the lock and gaining entry to your home.

Anti – drill

The anti drill feature prevents a drill bit being forced through the key above the shear line and destroying the lock protecting the internal mechanisms from snapping. The BKS 3* Euro cylinders have 2 anti drill pins (EN1303) and ceramic plates. The anti drill pins are made of stainless steel making it almost impossible to drill even with a diamond tipped drill bit. 

Anti – Bump

Bumping locks is one of the worse ways your home can get broken into because when the lock is breached it does not leave any trace of forced entry. The anti bump feature prevents making the pins in the cylinder to bounce up and down, above the shear line. Stopping the intruder gaining access,  anti bump locks have more stainless steel security pins and stainless steel sleeves, it also requires having special keys, making the BKS 3* Euro cylinder durable and heightened security of your home.

Anti – Pick 

Lock picking involves manipulating the pins within the lock so they can align on the shear line and allow the plug to be turned and the lock to be opened. The Bks 3* Euro cylinders have sprung trap pins and chunky spool pins making the lock extremely tough to pick.

LED Key - 

There is only 1 LED Key this feature has a unique LED key light making it visually easier for night time use.

How to measure a cylinder

Measurement A Internal – measure from the internal end of the cylinder to the center of the screw fix.

Measurement B External – measure from the centre of the screw fixing hole to the external end of the cylinder. 

 

How to change A cylinder

• 1    Open the door and locate the fixing screw. The screw can be found on the face of the multi-point lock in line with the cylinder.
• 2.      After removing the screw- insert the key and turn slightly, you can then withdraw the cylinder by pulling on the key.
• 3.      Insert your new cylinder ensuring the cam is not protruding past the body of the cylinder on either side.
• 4.      Secure the cylinder with the fixing screw and test lock operation
