What are gasket shears?

Gasket shears are used to cut different materials like plastic, wood, rubber and trimmings for windows and doors. Gasket shears are a great tool for anyone trading in glazing, carpentry and door fitters.


How to use gasket Shears?

To unlock gasket shears flip the safety lock in to the down position to open the jaws. To cut material place the item against the guard lined up with the appropriate angle marked on the face.

Face plate

The gasket shears have a face plate which helps indicate the angles ranging from 45 to 195 degrees. This is a great feature giving a precision angle and clean cut.

Gasket Blades

Gasket shear blades are made from steel and makes it easier to cut through plastic, rubber and wood up to 15mm thick.

Gasket Handles

Gasket handles are made from plastic making them non slip to improve your grip. Gasket shears are also cushioned to provide comfort when using the tool. Another bonus feature for gasket shears are they are universally handed meaning it does not matter if you are a left handed or a right handed person.  

Gasket shears safety Lock 

Gasket shears have a safety lock to keep shears closed preventing unwanted injuries.

Never leave gasket shears open and do not cut electric wires. Inappropriate use may result in physical injury or damage to property and please store in a safe place and out of reach of children.

Gasket shears are not sold to anyone under 18. Proof of age is required if you do not look 25.
